The project's goal is to support local communities in the energy transition through education, engagement, and the creation of innovative renewable energy solutions.

Terra sp. z o.o. is a proud partner in the Baltic Beat project, aimed at accelerating community-based clean energy transitions in the South Baltic region.

Objectives
The project focuses on supporting local communities, municipalities, and businesses in their efforts to implement renewable energy solutions and climate-neutral practices through knowledge-sharing, capacity-building, and digital tools.

Key activities and results

  • A series of thematic workshops on energy communities, funding opportunities, and climate action strategies has already been conducted across the South Baltic region.
  • Activities focus on developing a standardised cross-border approach to overcome low renewable energy shares by gathering and exchanging information, applying peer-to-peer learning, and sharing best practices. It introduces toolkits to empower local stakeholders in creating energy communities and guides local energy transformation processes, reinforced by a cross-border advisory platform and specialised training services.
  • The project seeks to enhance the production of renewable energy by providing local actors with comprehensive toolkits to facilitate preparation and management of renewable energy sources (RES). It emphasises creating and developing energy communities to boost the share of green energy in regional energy mixes.
  • A study visit to Denmark is planned for September 2025, providing project partners with the opportunity to learn about best practices in renewable energy implementation.
  • Development of training materials, digital catalogues, and stakeholder maps supporting clean energy transitions.
