Tergo builds MRV systems that measure emissions rather than estimate them, report them in the formats operators, governments and buyers need, and hand verifiers a controlled evidence base they can sign quickly. Oil and gas methane, power and solar, industry, and national inventories.

National inventories, sector MRV for oil and gas and power, and the measured baselines an Article 6 programme or a domestic carbon price depends on.
Producers facing OGMP 2.0 reporting and EU methane rules, and companies that need inventories, product footprints and sustainability reports a verifier will sign.
Monitoring plans, metering specifications and data intake designed before construction, so the project is verification-ready from its first period.
Raw-data access, a findings log and a signing workspace. Built for accredited verifiers to audit a controlled system rather than reconstruct one.
MRV is three things. Measurement that stands up to scrutiny, reporting in the formats that regulators and buyers actually read, and verification made fast because the evidence is already in order.
Measured tonnes can become credits. See the carbon trading platform Tergo builds on top of this.
Source inventories of flares, vents, leaks, compressors, tanks, gathering and processing. Site-level measurement with flow meters, gas analysers, optical gas imaging and fixed sensors. Top-down reconciliation against aerial and satellite campaigns. Continuous monitoring on super-emitter assets. Outputs aligned to OGMP 2.0 Level 5 and to EU Regulation 2024/1787, the rules that now reach every producer exporting to Europe.
Revenue-grade metering of generation and export, national grid emission factors built from dispatch data, plant-level reports for utilities and developers, and measured fuel displacement for captive solar and storage. The numbers a solar credit or a combined-cycle conversion credit rests on.
Organisational inventories to ISO 14064-1, product footprints to ISO 14067 for exporters facing border carbon rules, and sustainability reporting outputs. Delivered on Tergoscope, the platform regulated banks already use for their own accounting.
National greenhouse gas inventories to IPCC 2006 and 2019 methods, sector data flows from ministries and operators into one system, and the transparency reporting a government owes under the Paris Agreement. The long-term destination of every national MRV programme we design.
Data flows one way, from instruments to a signed statement, and nothing is typed in twice.
Verification is a defined term. Under ISO 14064-3, CORSIA, the Core Carbon Principles and the EU methane regulation it means the independent accredited body’s assurance process, ending in a signed statement. A system that calls its own checks “verification” hands a reviewer the argument that the operator is verifying its own numbers.
So Tergo does everything that makes verification fast, and none of the signing. The platform authenticates, checks, reconciles, calculates and assembles the evidence package. The verifier audits a controlled system instead of reconstructing a spreadsheet. That is what cuts verification time and cost, and it is what a regulator or a buyer government will accept.
Every calculation and every report cites the instrument it implements, so a regulator’s or a buyer’s reviewer can trace it.
Hosted where the client requires, including in-country; ISO/IEC 27001 programme; append-only audit trail; operator commercial data segregated and access-logged.
Measurement Tergo has delivered, verified and had audited, for banks, universities, public institutions and the United Nations system.
Tergoscope runs carbon accounting for ING Bank and PKO Bank Polski and powers a customer-facing CO2 calculator for Credit Agricole Bank: measurement systems that pass a bank’s audit and data-security review.
Tergo’s own carbon credits were quantified to ISO 14064-2 and verified by an independent third-party auditor to ISO 14064-3, then issued, sold and retired for corporate clients across Poland and the EU.
Greenhouse gas measurement and reporting for the UN Day Gala, World Environment Day in Warsaw and PRECOP 27 in Katowice; the inventory behind Kozminski University’s path to becoming Poland’s first carbon-neutral academy; calculations underpinning published corporate sustainability reports.
Tergo designs national MRV architectures for governments: sector methane intelligence, power and solar MRV, corporate accounting and the national inventory on one data foundation, with independent verification kept structurally outside the operator. Expert testimony to the Polish parliament on environment, energy and climate.
Tergo’s monitoring plans and audit-readiness work give verifiers what they need before they ask: authenticated data, an immutable audit trail and a complete evidence package on the day the period closes.
An MRV system lasts because the client’s own professionals run it. Certification is part of delivery, not an add-on.
MRV practitioner. Greenhouse gas accounting and inventories, monitoring plans, data quality and QA/QC, platform use. For operator and ministry staff.
Methodology and registry specialist. Baselines, additionality, uncertainty, sector methodologies in depth, registry administration.
Verifier and system administrator. Validation and verification practice, audit sampling, site measurement for methane, metering for solar, platform administration and security.
In-person blocks with workplace application between them, a digital learning platform for later cohorts, and a credential issued by the client’s authority with Tergo as delivery partner.
Whether the goal is a compliance report, a national inventory or a carbon credit, it starts with the same thing: a measured baseline that an independent body can sign. Tell us what you need to measure and who needs to trust the number.
